Crib Competition

For Christmas art and science 5th and 6th class made a crib with a circuit. We made people in the crib from materials around our house. The crib itself was made from wood or cardboard. We had three winners in 5th class and three winners in 6th class. The winners were:

Christmas Jumble Sale

Mrs Treacy and 5th and 6th class organised a jumble sale in aid of the school extension fund. Everyone brought in lots of things to sell at the jumble sale. People also brought in cakes and prizes for a raffle. There were games like 'Name the Teddy' and 'Guess how many sweets in the jar'. All the classes got to visit the jumble sale and many parents came too.

Thank you to all who helped out but especially to 5th and 6th class who organised the whole event and ran the jumble sale in the community centre. Well done!
